If you're on Blogger, it's easiest to go to the Design tab, add a Gadget, and select "Picture" from the list. Then copy and paste in the HTML for the image (found below) and put the link to my Summer Reading blog post (also found below) in the Link box. That should do it :)
Link to my summer reading blog post:

Thanks to those of you participating in the pledge, and for those who would be willing to share my button for the pledge! You are awesome :)

Awesome!! I'm so glad you encouraged me to read :) I'm on book #3!!! OMG!
ReplyDeleteDo you need help with the code box? I'd happily help you!
ReplyDelete@Cath ~ Thanks! That'd be awesome if you could help. I was able to create a version with the code box, but I think there might have been a problem with me trying to link to that specific post instead of just my general blog address. When I tried to grab the code and put it in my sidebar, the image wouldn't show up at all. There was no problem when I just put my blog address as the link (but I really wanted the badge to link to my summer reading post!). I'm at a loss for what the problem is!
ReplyDeleteYour code should be something like: <*a href="http://caitidid-designs.blogspot.com/2011/06/summer-reading-pledge.html" ><*img alt="Summer Reading Pledge" src="http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/7530/summerreadingpledge150.jpg> (remove *)
ReplyDeleteYou should put the http because sometimes blogspost will cause you problem if you don't, maybe that's the problem...If you'd like send me an email catherine at love-tears.net :)
Thanks for the button, I've got it on my blog.
ReplyDeleteHi! Me again. I'm going to snag one of these cool buttons. :) For my new years resolution I said 12 books this year--it is harder than usual for me to read with two little ones! Anyway, I'm going to snag this up for the next few weeks, to see if I can't use it as a reminder to read more and finish a couple before summer ends!
ReplyDelete1. Bird by Bird
2. Burn this Book
Thanks!
